passNumeracy is operated by No Drama Studios (Australia). This policy explains what we collect when you use passnumeracy.com.au, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate.
If you do not create an account, we collect only what is needed to make the site work and to understand traffic in aggregate: the pages you visit, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the answers you give in the free diagnostic test. Your practice progress is stored in your own browser (localStorage) and never leaves your device unless you sign in.
If you create an account, we additionally store your email address, which test pathway you selected, your practice attempts and scores, and, if you buy a pass, its type and expiry date. We never see or store your card details.
We use cookies and similar storage for three purposes: keeping you signed in, measuring traffic through Google Analytics 4, and serving advertising through Google AdSense on the free tier.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our sites and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies generally at aboutads.info.
Users who hold a paid pass are not shown advertising, and no advertising cookies are set for them by us.
Our AI coach (Sage) is powered by a third-party language model provider. When you ask Sage a question, the question text and the practice question you are working on are sent to that provider to generate a reply. Do not put personal information into the coach. Conversations are retained so we can monitor quality and cost.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the site: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Google (analytics and advertising), Vercel (hosting), and our AI provider as described above. Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
Where a teacher or provider runs a class through our Classroom feature, they see first names and aggregate results only. No email addresses or individual accounts are exposed to them.
Account data is kept while your account exists. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your personal data within 30 days, other than records we are required to keep for tax or accounting purposes. Anonymous analytics may persist in aggregate form.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@passnumeracy.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable period. If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Our sites are intended for adults preparing for professional entry tests, and for secondary and vocational students working under the supervision of a teacher or provider. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without that supervision. The Classroom feature deliberately collects first names only for this reason.
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the dashboard.
