LANTITE Cost 2026: Fees Per Component and What a Resit Costs | Pass Numeracy

LANTITE numeracy · essentials

How much does the LANTITE cost?

The LANTITE fee is set by ACER and charged every time you register for a component. The figures below are from ACER's registration page.

The 2026 fee

RegistrationFee (GST inclusive)
One component (literacy or numeracy)$98
Both components$196

The fee is payable at registration and is charged again for every resit. Sitting numeracy three times costs three registrations.

What a resit really costs

Since 2025 there is no limit on attempts, so the cost of not passing is the fee again plus a wait of up to three months for the next window. For most candidates that wait matters more than the money: a delayed pass can delay a placement or graduation.

The cheapest LANTITE is the one you pass first time. Spend the money on the test, not on resits.

What preparation costs

ACER publishes free practice material for both components. On this site the 13-question diagnostic is free with no account, every full practice paper is free with a free account, and Pro is $29 for 12 months if you want the worked solution on every question and unlimited Sage AI coaching. Literacy practice is free with the same account at passLiteracy.
