LANTITE test dates 2026

ACER runs the LANTITE in four test windows a year. You register in a two-week registration period, then sit the test on a date inside the window that follows, at a test centre or by remote proctoring. The 2026 dates below are from ACER's test dates page.

The 2026 windows

WindowRegistrationTest dates
17 to 20 January9 to 22 February
231 March to 13 April4 to 17 May
330 June to 13 July3 to 16 August
422 September to 5 October26 October to 8 November

Registration opens on the morning of the first day and closes at 5 pm Melbourne time on the last day. ACER does not accept late registrations, so if you miss a registration period you wait for the next window. If you sit by remote proctoring, bookings close five days before the end of the window.

When results come out

WindowResults released
1Week ending 20 March 2026
2Week ending 12 June 2026
3Week ending 11 September 2026
4Week ending 4 December 2026

Results come out about five weeks after each window closes. If you need a pass before a placement or graduation deadline, count back from that deadline to pick the window, not from today.

How to time your preparation

The registration period closes about three weeks before the window opens. If you register on the last day, you have between three and five weeks until you sit. That is enough for a focused revision plan if you start on the day you register.

  • Sit the free 13-question diagnostic the day you register, so you know which strands need work.
  • Do one full timed paper a week in the run-up, and use the Skill Gym between papers on the strands the diagnostic flagged.
  • Practise on the on-screen calculator simulator before the test. Section 1 lets you use it; Section 2 does not.
  • Book your test date early in the window if you can, so a technical problem with remote proctoring leaves room for a rebooking inside the same window.

Sitting literacy and numeracy in the same window

You can register for one component or both in the same window. Many candidates sit both, but if one is clearly weaker you can sit that component alone and register for the other in a later window. The fee is charged per component either way.
